How to Edit Your Templates

Congratulations on your order — and thank you! Here's everything you need to personalize your Papyrelle template. No design experience required, and you do not need paid software. Pick whichever tool below you're most comfortable with.

What you received

An instant-download, fully editable template file (.pptx) plus this guide. Every piece of text is editable — your names, date, venue, wording, colors and more.

Option 1 — Canva (easiest, 100% free)

  1. Go to canva.com and create a free account.
  2. On the home screen, click Create a design → Import file (or simply drag your .pptx onto the page).
  3. Open the imported design and click any text to type your own details.
  4. Change fonts or colors from the top toolbar if you'd like — it's your design now.
  5. When finished: Share → Download → PDF Print.

Option 2 — Google Slides (free)

  1. Open Google Drive and click New → File upload, then choose your .pptx.
  2. Right-click the uploaded file → Open with → Google Slides.
  3. Click any text to edit your details.
  4. Download it with File → Download → PDF Document.

Option 3 — PowerPoint (desktop or free online)

  1. No PowerPoint? Use it free at office.com with any free Microsoft account (PowerPoint for the web).
  2. Open the .pptx, click any text to edit, then File → Save As / Export → PDF.

Option 4 — LibreOffice Impress (free desktop app)

Prefer a free program on your computer? Download LibreOffice, open the .pptx in Impress, edit, and export to PDF.

A quick note on fonts

Our designs use a refined specialty font. If the lettering looks a little different when you open the file, that's normal — the text stays fully editable, so you can install the font for free or simply choose a font you love. Editing in Canva makes swapping to a beautiful matching font especially easy.

Printing your templates

  • At home: print invitations and cards on nice cardstock (110–120 lb / 250–300 gsm) for a premium feel.
  • Local or online print shop: export a high-quality PDF and upload it to any shop — Staples, Office Depot, VistaPrint, or your local printer.
  • Large signs (welcome sign, seating chart): send the PDF to a print shop for poster / large-format printing.
  • Standard sizes are built in (for example 5×7 invitations), and you can resize to 4×6, A5, and more inside your editor.
